Other Pete Family Happenings

Here are just a few pictures of what we have been up to lately, which isn't really much! We did go on an awesome hike with the young women from church. The leaves were so amazing then. They are sadly almost gone now and there is a fresh coat of snow on the mountains reminding us everyday that winter is fast approaching. It has been a hard month for our family, but through it all we have strived to spend more time together and heal as a family. There is nothing like two wonderful children and a loving and supportive husband to make you appreciate all the wonderful things we have. I just want to thank everyone for the kind words, cards and prayers. We have felt them and been strengthened from them. Heavenly Father has really brought us a sense of peace and love and for that I will be eternally grateful.

It is like he is saying....aren't I so cute! He knows it! Caught in action...she just loves to experiment with her little brother. Nothing like a rock shower to have fun.

When driving back down the mountain we were lucky enough to spot a momma bear with her cute three little cubs crossing the road. It was so awesome to see that, bear sightings are much more rare than the ever present moose. You just want to kiss those cubs...too bad you can't!

Trooping along on our hike. We went up what is called Arctic Valley, a popular berry picking spot and a ski lift in the winter. The kids did really well for the most part. As we got further up though it got a little colder and poor Carson's hands were freezing, he didn't like that too much. Bella hiked more than half way up on her own and most of the way down. We did end up putting her in the backpack later because she got tired and Carson was cold. You learn from these experiences though, how much your kids can handle and remember how to make it better next time...like bringing gloves and the paci!

I had her hair in several braids for 2 days, this was the awesome do she had when I took them out.

She loves to play the piano, she also hates wearing bottoms if you haven't noticed :)
